Welcome to a space of profound reflection. Sabine Kühner’s 2023 painting, "What constitutes humanity?" (110 x 150cm, tempera and oil on canvas), serves as our point of departure—a raw, emotional seismograph capturing a world fractured by crisis. Yet, this showcase goes further, crossing the threshold from physical canvas to the digital realm through our Pigment to Pixel transformation. Together, these works create a multidimensional holding space. They invite you to explore the fragile entanglement of destruction and renewal, witnessing how the human spirit preserves the seed of hope even within the deepest abysses. The work is an emotional and philosophical response to a world in crisis and a meditation on our responsibility to envision its transformation.

In this project the digital transformation (video "The Machine Dreams", The Continuum, 2025, 1:57 min)  does not add new perspectives to the analog source code. Instead it provides a portal through which the viewer can immerse herself even more deeply in this work.
